James F. Ferrare, CPA, CFA is Executive Vice President and Portfolio Manager. Jim joined Pinnacle in 1999 after five years with Manchester Capital Corporation, a registered investment adviser. For the period 1986 to 1994, Jim was a General Partner at Davidson, Weil Associates, an investment partnership specializing in asset allocation for high net worth individuals. Jim was also employed for three years at Oppenheim, Appel, Dixon & Co., a certified public accounting firm specializing in the securities industry. Jim is a graduate of Buffalo University and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He previously served as a member of the Estate Planning Committee of the New York State Society of Public Accountants and on the Charles Schwab & Co. Institutional Advisory Board. Additionally, he holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation (CFA).
